Vermaaklikheid Farm Studio

November 2015 & September 2016
Where: Vermaaklikheid Farm studio, South Africa
When: November 2015 and September 2016
What: Dance film research lab
As the founders of The Body Draws Circles, Hannah & Hege continue to meet at least once a year in the Western Cape, South Africa where they work for two weeks in a farm studio located in a remote area, surrounded by indigenous nature. During these self-appointed residencies they work together with varying themes connected to the core intentions of the project. Through deep personal investigation, dialogue & deep listening these themes are unpacked and explored through dance improvisations and are now a series of short dance films which archive this work and process and serve to share it with the wider public.
Participating artists:
Hannah Loewenthal - Dancer, stage designer, director and 5Rhythms® teacher
Hege Gabrielsen - Dancer, choreographer and 5Rhythms® teacher
